The grand finale of our 60th concert season will feature the raw passion of the music of Spain. Infused with the vibrant rhythms of the dance, this fiesta of Spanish classics will get your toes tappin’ and your heart pounding. We begin with the Ritual Fire Dance from Manuel de Falla’s El Amor Brujo. Next up Massenet’s ballet music from Le Cid, followed by Falla’s Three- cornered Hat: Suite 2. We’ll conclude with virtuosic fire from violinist Jane Sung, performing Lalo’s thrilling Symphonie espagnole.
